More trips, but home for a few weeks now...

My parents managed to stop by the house.  They managed to rearrange all my furniture, hang lots of stuff up on the wall, reorganize my cabinets and plenty more.  We also managed to see Mom's cousin Kathleen's family one night which was nice.  There are still quite a few things to do at the house, but it is definitely looking great thanks to Mom and Dad!  As I was primarily working, happy hour cocktails were my responsibility when I got home.

We ended up getting up really early to start the drive down to South Carolina.  Brock, Amber and Nora were meeting us there to celebrate Nora's belated 2nd Birthday.  We built sand castles, hung out at The PIT, swam in the pool and had birthday cake.  It was a great time.  I can't believe how big she is getting.

After South Carolina, I had to travel to Dallas for work.  It was really hot most of the week, but luckily I had planned to drive down to Houston to see Sara VA again for the weekend.  We spent most of the time in her pool, but we did manage to get out a bit as well.

We even managed to fit in a trip to Waco to see Chip and Joanna

I managed to get back just in time to see my little neighbourhood 4th of July parade.  Unfortunately, it rained later that night so I didn't head into town for the fireworks....opting to watch them on television instead.  It just isn't the same when it rains.
I am at home for a few weeks now.  I have a few short trips towards the end of the month, and I am heading back to Dallas at the end of August.  I have decided to have the housewarming on 5th Aug to watch the Opening Ceremony in Rio in the backyard.  Hope it all goes well for everyone!  I am really looking forward to that party, but hoping for no rain!
Just a quick update from me.  Lots of love to everyone all over the world, even if it's not summer where you are!
Sxo
